The night was superbly entertaining. Me and my good friend popped to Maccie’s at King Cross to grab a little bite to eat before heading off to the club. When we got to Elephant & Castle we sat down on a bench to carry on eating our food, we then bumped into a werido outside the station who was rather merry and hi fived haha! The air that night was crips and cool and the nightlife could be felt all around. Wetherspoons was packed full of people ready to enjoy their evening just as we were about to enjoy ours. We finished our food and headed for the club, we got to the guest list queue, got ID’d, wristbands and we headed inside to collect our entry slips, and we were in!

We walked up to the balcony upstairs in the main room to enjoy some fab track selection from Henry Hackling. We then met more friends and revellers who were also really excited about tonight. Whilst I was up on the balcony with my friend we bumped into Corey James, who was set to play 04:30-06:00, just after Kryder finishes, and he was ever so kind to us, gave me a hug as he reconised me straight away of course haha. Kryder started the night off from 01:30-04:30am with some amazing tribal and funky house tracks which were so heavenly and made my hips sway so much… I actually found it dificult to stop swaying because it was that swayable. Cartel is all about that tribal sound.

His set was gorgeous, played a lot of my faveouites and I adored everything he played. Corey had introduced me to someone I wanted to meet for ages too which really nice, we continued to dance to Kryder’s impressive set. He played Ori Tali Ma, his new one with Erick Morillo called Waves, Mi Gente remix too which is by far my favoruite to hear at Ministry.

I then managed to also meet someone I met off Twitter too and I got him into VIP with us with ease, possibly it made his night and money worth while. So we all enjoyed the rest of Kryder’s eclectic set of beauties . I went to go out to get some drinks in for us all and we partied all night long together. Funnily enough as I walking back in with the drinks, I had bumped into Corey who wanted to give me a high five, yet my hands were full with drinks haha!

It was time for Corey to take to the stage once again at Ministry, yet we were told that they had to close the VIP section so we made our way down to the dancefloor and it was very atmosperic and lively at 04:30am. The lack of people at this time saddended me a little bit, but I didn’t care to be honest or notice it as much as I did before as Corey was doing an immense job of making me dance and smile again. His set was also filled with my favorite tracks, LMSY, Another Storm, Mi Gente (The one he also played at Creamfields) Bird Flu and so many more. His set also included several new IDs which sounded really good, some of them did ring bells in my ears that’s for sure!

I actually had the chance to see Corey play here on the 10th March at Third Party’s Release party in Dolby, but I couldn’t as I had a pretty bad flu and my throat was so dry and very sore from all the singing I did, wore all the energy I had out of my body ha ha, so I missed his set, but was so happy to watch his entire set tonight.

All the guys I partied with were just the best, could never find anyone else like them to be honest. The night finally came to a very sad end as Corey’s set was cut short by 30 minutes, thought it was very funny when this girl wanted Corey to play Liam Payne’s new song on the infamous sound system, we couldn’t stop laughing, was the most random thing to hear someone to request a song with hardly anyone there and to actually hear them request a song haha!

We managed to get a photo with Corey at the end of his set and me and my friend had a little catch up with him and his management a little bit which is always nice when they are that down to earth to have a little chat with you. Just wish the room the more packed out for because Corey would play a longer set like Kryder did as I knew he had so much more to play.

We made our way to the station after we had left and I said goodbye to my friend, always really sad this part! Me and my other friend who came with me headed off to Maccie’s to have some breakfast and to discuss are next events and club nights as I always do with friends, said our goodbyes and I headed home onto the Circle to West Ham, then the District back to Essex haha!
